One Way Gallery has been around for over 15 years. The owner, Stephen Cook, has built up an amazing group of talented artists. The type of artwork you can expect to find when visiting One Way is abstract paintings, sculpture work, interactive installations and so much more. Steve currently is swapping art work out everyone 6-8 weeks. Doing so helps keep the interest of the public because you know when yo visit you’ll be seeing new work everytime. Recently they have added an upstairs which as a few more studio spaces and they now have a tattoo artist on site.
Walking into the gallery is a very open and friendly environment. They have one area for smaller paintings and gifts but then there is the main showing area which is altered depending on what the current displayed work is. There is also a newly added lounge area. Since it is a local art shop chances are you’re going to see someone there that you know. Which is part of the whole experience of One Way, you can go view incredible pieces and have meaningful conversations.
